WOW! I just got the word that you were already in NY! Somehow I thought you were leaving OR on 7-15. I dunno where that came from. Anyway, Haaaay Girl HAAAYYY!!!
Sounds amazing. A-maze-ing. I am so glad you are blogging. Very cool to keep up to date on you this way. Hope Cat isn't reading your blog, tho! lol For pity's sakes, don't open her kitchen cabinet! (heehee, just my odd sense of humor, sorry) Hope you are finding time to soak up the NY culture and enjoy yourself between the books and classes.
Luckily I solved the mystery of getting onto your blog and reading it is fun and makes me feel nostalgic to hear about all the places you're seeing. I love hearing all the details so don't hold back! And I'm so glad you're meeting a lot of new people - I knew you would. Your comments about being struck by the different accents and mannerisms brought back a lot of memories. There's definitely a different mentality there, but it keeps you on your toes. And how fun that you can get in free to all those museums! It's such a great feeling to know you can see the best of the best there. Looking forward to reading more. Enjoy!
Waiting for the DC weekend update...there is no way you'll be able to write it all, but try...we all wanna hear whatcha doin'. Happy birthday a day early. Such a wonderful thing to be celebrating in NYC. love, mom
